0:00 Hi, this is Clint from Versa. 0:02 This is a short video on what are my appliance options for the Versa secure SDN solution. 0:08 So these are the various platforms you can deploy a Versa SDN device. 0:13 So for this Wan edge use case, most people choose a Versa appliance. 0:17 So we have low end appliances to high end appliances. 0:22 Dell also offers five different Versa certified appliances. 0:25 These boot up as a Versa device. 0:28 You can also deploy Versa on all the major hypervisors, all the major public clouds and our Versa SSE gateways also can connect into an enterprise SD Wan. 0:41 So this approach gives enterprises choice and appliances. 0:45 You can deploy the Versa Secure SD Wan solution on a wide range of physical, virtual and cloud platforms. 0:51 And you can scale the Versa data plane from Angelo appliance to 100 Gig network hub to Azure, AWS and GCP. 0:59 So we offer a range of appliances ranging from an entry level appliance to a very high end hub with 100 gig Ethernet and a wide range of appliances in between to meet the exact needs of any enterprise. 1:14 So looking at our appliances were done at power supplies and these are good for hub applications, controller applications, headquarters or major site use cases. 1:26 The CSG 1300 and 1500 are mainstream enterprise branch appliances. 1:32 These are available in both the 1300 and higher end 1500 flavors. 1:37 These both support 14 layer three or layer two Ethernet ports. 1:42 They have 8 ports of multi gig Poe plus six ports of 10 gig Ethernet. 1:48 On any Versa appliance, you can group multiple ports together to form a layer 2 port group. 1:55 This box also supports all the Versa CSG expansion modules. 2:00 We have expansion modules with four ports of Poe plus 4 ports of SFP garages, 8 ports of thousand base T4 ports of T1 E, one or one port of ADSL two or VDSL 2. 2:17 And this shows your performance of these appliances. 2:20 And this shows you the processor, RAM and storage on these appliances with the 1500 offering more capacity for hub and controller use cases and the 1300 being very appropriate for deploying in lots of enterprise branch locations. 2:42 This is the next higher end appliance. 2:44 This is the CSG 2500. 2:47 This includes a higher end processor, more RAM and more storage. 2:52 This has eight ports of 10 gig Ethernet and eight ports of thousand base T and supports higher performance firewall and SD Wan capacities. 3:03 This is the CSG 5000. 3:05 This is our highest end appliance. 3:07 This is appropriate for major hub use cases. 3:11 Major firewall use cases. 3:14 We have 16 ports of 10/25 Gig Ethernet, 4 ports of 100 Gig Ethernet. 3:22 We have massive processing, RAM and storage capacity in this appliance to meet the most demanding use cases. 3:30 This is the CSG 3000 series appliance. 3:33 This is a unique appliance that combines both a Versa Wan edge appliance with a 24 port multi gig Poe switch that is ASIC base. 3:44 So both a Wan edge appliance and a switch merge into a single package. 3:50 So these appliances have a 24 ports of multi gig Poe integrated 100 gig Ethernet. 3:57 It supports all the CSG expansion modules and supports massive performance for very demanding use cases. 4:05 This is going to look at appliances with a single power supply. 4:09 These are more typically used in branch use cases. 4:12 For enterprises looking for HA, you can employ HA appliances and HA transport. 4:18 This is the CSG 350 appliance. 4:22 This is available with zero, one or two built in Lt. 4:26 radios. 4:28 This is the CSG 365 appliance. 4:31 This is one of the most popular appliances. 4:33 It's a very cost of appliance, but with excellent performance. 4:38 It does support six layer 3000 base T ports. 4:42 It's available with one or two integrated Lt. 4:45 radios. 4:46 It's available to integrated Wi-Fi access point. 4:49 So if you want to use this for a work from home environment or a kiosk use case, this can basically use both LTE for Wan transport and Wi-Fi for LAN transport. 4:59 It supports all the CSG expansion modules. 5:04 This is the CSG 750 and 770. 5:07 This is a very popular appliance. 5:09 This appliance has a fanless design. 5:12 It has six layer 3 Ethernet ports and two SFP garages. 5:17 It's available with one or two integrated Lt. 5:19 radios. 5:20 It's also able to integrated Wi-Fi access point and like any Versa plants with eight or more processing cores, it supports Versa ucpe, which allows you to load other workloads on top of Versa. 5:34 This box is available in a 5G flavor, so if you want use 5G as a Wan transport, the CSG does support that. 5:45 This is the new CSG 150. 5:47 This is our least expensive appliance to run the Versa Secure SD Wan solution. 5:52 It has four ports of layer 3 Ethernet and does have a relatively robust 4 core processor. 5:59 So very appropriate for small sites, extranet use cases, work from home, etcetera. 6:08 And this is then looking at the Dell appliance. 6:10 So Dell offers five different appliances that are versus certified. 6:14 This is looking at the VEP 4600 and there are two flavors of the 4600. 6:19 There's both the 910 and the 9:30. 6:23 So 910 is 8 core Xeon, 930 is 16 core Xeon. 6:28 These are very popular in Dell accounts. 6:31 Dell has really exceptional global supply chain. 6:34 Some of our large enterprises are standardized on these Dell VE PS This is the larger appliance with the redundant power supplies. 6:43 Dell also offers the smaller VEP 1400 and these are available with four, eight or 16 core processors at very attractive price points. 6:53 And these boxes once again boot up as a Versa device and are fully supported by Versa on this box. 6:59 The two SFP garages do also support 10 gig Ethernet. 7:06 We hope you found this useful. 7:07 Thanks a bunch, have a great day.
